Hermana Party Planning

  Hii everyone What a weeeek!!  Started off getting a random vaccine from a south american doctors office, that looked like it belonged in a horror movie, in hopes of not getting deported haha. Do I know what it was for? No. But my arm really hurts Other than that, this week was pretty dang good!! We were walking down the street one day when we met Irene, who we ended up talking to and sharing a scripture with. Halfway through, she told us she was a member of our church, but just hadn't been since she was 14. She invited us over for dinner the next day and we ended up having a really powerful lesson about the Book of Mormon with her and her husband who is not a member. Then on Sunday they all came to church, it was the best miracle ever!!  The second-best part of this week though was definitely the ward party. La Vida - Missionary Style

Since i probably won't write a letter muahaha I decided I'd write you guys one since I don't think I've ever done that  My week was good. My comp is good she's super fun. She definitely likes to work a little ~slower~ which is an adjustment but it's alright.  Had a zone conference with our new president and his 6 kids, his youngest is 3! Haha it was funny they introduced themselves and the 3 yr old was up there screaming the whole time lol. His oldest is 15, I think. His wife speaks pretty good Spanish, she studied it in college, although never served a mission. They lived in China for a few years, because when you're super rich you can do that kind of thing. So, they all speak fluent Chinese so that's kind of weird.  But ya he's cool.   He goes "ya when I got here, I thought president Escobar was going to talk to me about the rules and the standards, but he just gave me like 50 hugs"  It was SO funny because that's very typical pre...

Google Maps for the win

Woohooo!!! Tony was baptized yesterday!!!   H onestly one of the best days on my mission so far. His wife, Kayla was baptized about 3 months ago and after that we've been working with Tony pretty consistently. He honestly already felt part of the ward since he's been coming for so long haha.  The best part of the baptism was that his next door neighbor who introduced him to the church was able to baptize him. He's honestly a pretty shy guy and will hardly say prayers in front of people. He joined the church about 3 years ago himself and so this was his first time baptizing someone. It was the sweetest thing ever!!!  Miracle from this week was that some random lady decided to come to church haha. Her name is Felecia and she just moved into the area and typed in "holiness church" into Google maps and it brought her here. She was like "you guys are holiness right?" And I was like "yaaa we can be holiness haha"  She had a great time until it got to...
