Pupusas and Cafe Rio and enchiladas
Not a ton happened this week, but we did get some stellar food!
Starting with pupusas that a blind lady made for us. She went completely blind a few years ago but has been making pupusas since she was 10. So, it's all muscle memory now. The pupusas were straight fire.
Then, last week a member heard me and Hanson talking about how much we love Cafe Rio, so she decided to invite us over for some homemade Cafe Rio. If you know me at all, you know this was the highlight of my week.
Lastly, the Mejias. They made us some fine Mexican cuisine, enchiladas and oh my they were delicious. The Mexican food is starting to grow on me, slowly but surely.
Last week we were able to have our fast and testimony meeting all in Spanish, which was sooo sweet for our Spanish members. About 4x more members show up when they know it's going to be in Spanish so that was awesome.
This week we knocked on quite a few doors, saw them open the curtains, peek to see it was the missionaries, and promptly close the blinds and turn off the lights. I'm not sure if they think we can't see this happening,,,, but we do, everytime, hahahaha.
God is Good!! The book is blue and its full of goodness!
love you allll!
