Still in Inman

This week was definitely a week!!

some highs:
- we had transfers and I'm staying in Inman!!
- Rogelio brought his brother Rolando to church, who we are now teaching?? Perhaps
- Tony has started taking the lessons and is really doing awesome. He LOVES the book of Mormon and is already in Alma (!!) He also came to church this week with Kayla:)
- Kayla got her temple recommend on Sunday and we get to go with her to do baptisms for the dead!
- Bible class!!  We started a combined Bible class this week with the elders on Wednesday nights and we actually got such a good turnout!! More people in the south will come if you call it Bible study but we still drop some BOM references in there.
- My homegirl Bessie gave me a wwjd bracelet

On a sadder note, sis Marcheschi got transferred. Sad days over here bc we were always on the same wavelength and worked hard together. buttt oh well haha. Inman is still thriving! The members here are made of gold and are really working hard to involve themselves in missionary work, which is always awesome.

One miracle we had this week was with our friend Kimberly. She was a media referral and the first time we met her she said we were fine to talk to her, but she was never going to change from being a Baptist. We told her that was OK, we were only there to share. We ended up giving her a Book of Mormon 6 days ago and she's already in 3 Nephi. She texted us a few days ago saying she just can't stop reading... woohooo!!

This week was definitely hard, with my companion leaving and lots of people dropping us. But, as I started to look for the little miracles, the discouraging days started to get better.
In personally study this week I was reading in Mormon and came across the scripture, "behold I am a God of miracles, even the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob; and is the same God who created the heavens and the earth, and all things that are in them." (Mormon 9:11)

It's a pretty amazing promise that God hasn't changed. The same God who parted the red sea is performing miracles all around us every day! We just have to be looking for them, even the small ones:)
