I ran out of gas
This week has been so, so awesome. Very busy, which is my favorite.
The best part is when we put Elfie and Tony on data, in the same night! Elfie is 10 and her family started coming back to church about 4 months ago. She is super sweet and really wants to get baptized. We had an awesome lesson with her family last night, the spirit was so strong. And she's now on date for December 12th.
Right after Elfie's, we jumped in the car and I started it and I'm like ahh crap we're out of gas. Then I was like nahhh we'll be fine, we can get it after Tony's haha. We were not fine.
I've had my fair share of experiences running out of gas. I started to feel the car get super heavy and I was like oh shoot, luckily there was a gas station to our right. We pulled in, but only made it about 10 feet into the entrance before the car stopped lolol. (It was like a mega long entrance).
I was like ahhhh crap. Luckily the gas station people were very nice and let us borrow a gas can to fill our car a lil' bit so we could move it into a station. Lesson learned guys, the second the light comes on just fill it up. I think I've had to learn this lesson about 7 times.
Any waysss we made it to Tony and Kayla's, only like 20 min late. We taught the gospel of Jesus Christ lesson to Tony. And before we asked if he would like to be baptized, he goes "Kayla and I have been thinking about getting sealed in the temple" and we were like OKAY hahah that's awesome, but you have to get baptized first. Long story short, he is so excited to be baptized and he's on date for Dec 26th. This man has been to church for the past month and a half and already follows all the apostles on Facebook haha. He is so ready.
This week we also had stake conference! Never thought I'd be so excited about stake conference, but it was kinda like zone conference haha. Our mission president spoke at the leadership meeting and dropped some bars. So twas a good time
This week I've been reading and reading Enos! It's my all-time favorite book. Can't quite it all here but go give it a read haha.
God truly does answer our prayers, in his timing and according to his will. Even if he can't give us exactly what we want, he can often give us comfort or feelings of peace:) that's my favorite part about prayer.
Have a blessed week!!
