It's the little things
It truly is the simple things in life that make you stop and appreciate God's wonders! Nothing major happened this week, but instead a lot of little happy things. I've learned this week more than ever the importance and significance of the Holy Ghost in each of our lives.
There were so many simple spiritual promptings this week that led to big miracles, such as feeling prompted to visit our sweet friend Olga or knocking a random trailer that led to an awesome lesson. One experience that stood out was this past Thursday.
It was the last night for caroling in our area and I felt the strongest impression to go carol to this young couple. They were very inactive, but not only that, they were super anti haha. Like super. As we pulled up to the house my brain was like nahhh ya know this is actually a super bad idea. But something in me, just kept telling me that we needed to be at this house. Well, we ended up caroling and sharing a quick message, which was well received. Then when we asked for referrals, he pointed to four houses next to him. As we went to each of those houses, we not only caroled, but found 9 (!) People to teach. We gave out three books of Mormon right there on the doorstep and had a little impromptu lesson with them. And THEN one of the families came to church on Christmas Sunday.
What started out as a small spiritual prompting, lead to the most amazing miracle!!!
This was one of the biggest testimony builders to me to always! listen! to! spiritual! promptings!! Always!!
I hope everyone had such a good Christmas! It was soooo fun here, even though it was literally 80 degrees outside. We had a lot of members invite us over and I got to play with baby goats (yay). But the best part, was just being with other people who radiate Christ's light! At our last meal of the day, they had their entire extended family over plus like half the ward. And they kept apologizing for how crazy it was. But I was in my element! No one's seen crazy till they've been to a Frazier Christmas party haha. It was the perfect reminder of home and the true reason for the Christmas season, spending time with family and friends that you love! That is one of the best gifts Christ has given us:)
I hope you all have the blessed week!
