Hiiiiiyaa This week I got super sick and lost my voice! Yay! Haha! I was legit whispering in all our lesson Thursday and Friday haha. It was quite the adventure. It's gotten better, but now I just sound like a man lol In good news, Jazmin was baptized!! Oh, the best day ever. She bore her testimony the next day at church, and it was just the purest thing ever. Both her parents, who aren't members came and her mom told us they're going to get married!! So that they can get baptized too!! And she wants us to plan it!! Hahaha, good thing planning parties is kind of my specialty. We also planned a super special Sunday school lesson for the youth talking all about missions and then the bishopric made them all their own little tags, haha it was so sweet! Have a good week everyone!! Keep praying and reading your scrips!!

I know everyone was wondering if I survived the cyclone, I did. Our window did not. We now have a large hole in our window thanks to a flying branch! Woohoo! We called a repairman and all they did was taped plastic around it and said "we'll come back later" 6 days later, and we still gotta plastic window. This week was supper awesome. We had a conference in Melo, which the most northern part of our mission, bordering Brazil. Cool news, I got to go to Brazil. Bad news, I spent 12 hours in a van. Our mission rents out big vans for the missionaries so we don't take public transportation, which is nice. But it's still 12 hours in a van. On the way back, the road was closed, so our driver had to take a detour. It was dark so I couldn't quite see what we were driving on, but I'm positive it was not pavement haha. The van was just bouncing up and down and rocks were just flying into the window haha it was a ride for sure. Good thing I got to sharpen my skum ski...

Well just start off with the best news ever!! The Perez family was baptized this Saturday!!! Best. Day. Ever. About a month and a half ago Hermana Fernández and I started teaching Liliana and her kids. It's been so incredible to watch them change and progress in the gospel. From the first time they came to church, they were super committed to the gospel. Her jóvenes have been attending all the activities and when we see them their countenances are just beaming. The baptismal was a tad bit loco, but in a good way (mostly) hahah. When we got to the church, the font was filled up like maybe a foot. We were like ahhh crap. We vigorously started filling pots of water and dumping them in the font it was a sight to behold that's for sure. Sooo many people came to support them, which meant we were all super squished into the room with the baptismal font. Like super squished hahah. Everything was going great until the Hermano who was directi...

W hat a week!!! We had about 50 bajillion meetings this week which totally hyped us up for the Work but also meant a lottt of time in a van woop woop. Flashbacks to choir tour 2k19 Started out with zone council where we learned how to be bold missionaries. We made a goal to talk about baptism every single visit we had with people, even the first contact on the street and it worked some miracles. After p-day we did a huge blitz in one area and found soo many people who were ready for the gospel!! Thursday we made the loooong trek to treinta y tres for zone conf. We got picked up at 4am and didn't make it to the church until 9. We had a smalll but actually really big conference miracle. We had plans to have a lesson with a mom of some youth in our ward who isn't a member. Her stepson, Samael, has a baptism date for the end of April. Well we get to her house and looked at our phone and she said actually never mind, I'm too tired today hahaha rip. Then, not two minutes later ...

This week was sooo awesome!! Tuesday night was transfers and I got transferred to Maldonado, San Carlos with Hermana Fernández!! She speaks 0 English which is so awesome!! And she's soo patient with my Spanish which is such a blessing. This area is popping so they decided to split it, which means we're ward sharing. Right now we are living with 2 other sisters in Maldonado because we don't gotta house in our area, I'm still not entirely sure why, but here we are. 40 min from our area jaja. Everyday we hop on the bus and spend all day in San Carlos. We're really out in the Campo here, lots of cows and horses and goats, so ofc I love it. The ward in San Carlos is the best. They have a ton of youth which means tons of activities so I'm pretty much living my best life hahaha. Also the bishop pulled up in his moto to church this week, so you already know this ward is going to be a good time. Because there are so many youths, it means we get to teach a lot of youth ...
